Man oh man! In case you haven’t noticed, the competition is fierce in the treadclimber market. Page after page of phony reviews put out by Bowflex competitors in the search engines. Each one of them assuring you in no uncertain terms that if you bring home any Bowlfex treadclimber, it will begin to malfunction in a week or so. Geeez, one would think that they would at least write up their stories so it happens after the damn warranties expired!
Oh well, I’m sure people looking to sell Bowflex machines are doing the exact same thing on the pages that pop up if the names of any of their competitors machines are typed into your computer. So I guess that all is fair in love and war and treadclimber marketing. The reason is simple too and that’s that a treadclimber knocks the “monotony factor” that has always come with a plain ordinary treadmills down to zero.
Hey they are a gas to use and with some music on or interesting programming or a movie on the TV, time just flies by when you’re walking or running on one. So reading about them is one thing but actually climbing on and trying one out is an entirely different experience all together. You simply must do it. So now then what about the Bowflex TC5000 treadclimber? What makes it better then the rest out there?
Well, price for one thing. In case you haven’t noticed, this Bowflex top of the line model sells for some $1000 less than other similar competing models. Better equipment maybe? Nope! Bowflex by Nautilus is one of the oldest and most respected names in the high tech exercise equipment market. The reasons are many but for one thing Bowflex simply sells a lot more of them than anyone else. They have a much higher market share.
Also while Bowflex markets exclusively to private individuals for home use, their competition has cast a wider net by marketing to provate individuals as well as commercial interests. Look at Bowflex warranties on virtually everything they make and sell and you can see for yourself that it’s clearly stated that they are void if the product is used in a commercial setting. So bottom line is that for your money, the Bowflex TC5000 does seem to be the better choice when the smoke is cleared so all factors can be considered.
