I'll tell you what. After 17 years working as union ironworker I've definitely learned to baby my back. No it's not giving out on me but it just has a way of letting me know when I'm asking too much of it and a 40 hour work week is about all it will take. That my friends is the one main reason that I bought my SelectTech 552 / 1090 Dumbbell Stand and as far as I'm concerned it was money well spent.
Don't pay the least bit of attention to any reviews that paint it up as being difficult to assemble either. Just take a look at a picture of it and you can see that I had no trouble connecting it all up. It came with simple instructions and even the tools that were needed, so it was a cinch. Took me about 20 minutes and it was done. Simple as that. Another thing I have to say, is that it's definitly a nice sturdy unit made from quality materials and the rollers aren't cheapos either.
The Bowflex SelectTech 552 / 1090 Dumbbell Stand really serves double duty in my garage that I've converted into a gym though. It holds the weight sets as I use them, which saves my back from having to bend over and it's also a super handy caddy that I simply roll back in its spot when I'm done doing my reps with it. Add to that that it's just a real nice looking addition to my gym and it keeps my two sets of SelectTech 1090 up off the floor and in plain view for me and my buds when we get together to work out.
