I really liked this 13 DVD set by Tony Horton for several reasons. To start of with, Tony Horton is no steroid ball. He looks great! and all that he compiled and presents on these videos is completely “doable”. However; make no mistake about it because this is definitely not just another musical, TV show style workout set.
Rather, it’s all put compiled and presented in a strait forward style and is based entirely off of a unique set of scientific principles developed by Tony Horton to get the maximum amount of return out of the time you spend working out and getting in shape. In short, it’s all just so easy to understand and use and there is no other DVD set like it that I have seen yet.
His total program is designed to help you lose fat & trim up while you build muscle so it has something for everyone, no matter what their workout level is or their end goals. Also I was real surprised to see all that comes in the total package. Don’t kid yourself, cause you get a whole lot more than just the 13 DVDs in the box.
For instance I got the “How To Bring It DVD” #13, which is a complete overview of the Bowflex P90X system and i highly recommend that you watch this particular video before you begin putting anything else in the set to practical application. I also got the P90X 3 Phase Nutritional Plan Book & the P90X Calender for tracking progress as well as some handy online tools.
The other twelve main workout DVDs are as follows: #1 Chest and Back – #2 Plyometrics – #3 Shoulders and Arms – #4 Yoga X – #5 Legs and Back – #6 Kenpo X – #7 X Stretch – #8 Core Synergistics – #9 Chest Shoulders and Triceps – #10 Back and Biceps – #11 Cardio X – #12 Ab Ripper X – #13 How To Bring It.

I purchased a BOWFLEX BLAZE and SELECT TECH DUMBELLS. I did not receive the DVD with the BLAZE as I now understand that it does not come with one. Is there a DVD that shows how to do excersizes properly?

These should be the holy grail of any fitness freak or novice who wants to be the best they can be. As well as being comprehensive, easy to understand and follow they also open you up to new areas you hadn’t previously considered such as Yoga and Kenpo.
I was a sceptic about this kind of DVD before but now I am a confirmed convert.
