Bowflex Xtreme 2 Review

I did some research and found that as far as pricing is concerned, the Bowflex Extreme 2 lands right smack-dab in the middle area of the Bowflex lineup. It's priced between the Ultimate 2 & the Revolution at the higher end & the Blaze and Bowflex Sport on the lower end. Hence; I determined that Bowflex mujst have targeted the mid-range market with this one particular model.

The first thing that caught my eye when I saw the Bowflex Extreme 2 for the very first time was its seat. You see, it doesn't have a long bench like other models. Rather, it very closely resembles the more confined seating configuration found on a leg extension machine down at my local gym. Even so, I found it to be fully adjustable, making it very easy to put into alignment for any exercises. Also I'm 6' 4'' and had no trouble making use of the machine.

I've tried out virtually all the machines Bowflex makes, so I really liked the fact that I didn't have to switch cables between exercises with this model. Also I found that the four position adjustable pulleys made for so much more exercise variation freedom. For instance, I could switch between the lat tower and leg extension bar very quickly. No hassles at all.

The nice thing about the Bowflex Extreme 2 that I like the best though was that it's quite compact yet can be upgraded twice. No kidding! This is the perfect machine for a condo or apartment dweller yet it comes off the shelf putting out 210 pound of resistance and can be upgraded to 310 & 410 pounds. A few of the added perks that come with this unit include 7 year warranty, 6 week results guarantee and unlimited guarantee on the power rods.
