Bowflex PR3000 Home Gym

It's my heartfelt opinion that the Bowflex PR3000 is a fantastic fitness machine. I'm six foot-five inches tall and was somewhat worried that my height may be a problem for me at first but that all changed after I tried one out in a store; it felt completely comfortable. I also found thet the machine was very smooth operating and quite, which is a big plus as far as I'm concerned because I work a night shift workout when I get home late.

I bought mine last year and it took me roughly an hour and a half to set up after I got it home, using only 2 socket sizes and wrenches for the job. I'll also say that the instructions were straight forward and simple to follow. Not confusing or difficult in the least bit. Also unlike other Bowflex machines, the PR3000 lacks the cable pulley system that's notorious for slowing down workouts. This one is a far more simple cable system that doesn't have to be hassled with for rep changes.

Another nice thing that I like about my machine is that it can be upgraded from 210 pounds to 310 pounds. It's an easy change-out that involves the simple addition of two extra power rods. I haven't done the change on mine yet but I plan to soon because right now the 210 pounds is enough resistance. That will change very soon at the rate I'm progressing though. Even so, there was one thing that did annoy me after I got going with it.

That's that the manual that came with it doesn't list and show all of the exercises the machine is capable of. It's just a temporary problem though because I already ordered a set of DVDs to help me get full use out of my Bowflex PR3000. I sent off for them a week ago, so they should be arriving any time now.
