Bowflex PR1000 Home Gym

Before I bought my Bowflex PR1000, I spent a couple of months shopping around, investigating and reading reviews online. A lot of reviews. So based on what I read, I made the decision to go ahead and buy one. Some of the reviews did say that the assembly of the machine was difficult but I really had no problem with mine. It took me roughly an hour and about half of that time was spent sorting and organizing all the pieces and parts, before the actual assembly process.

I had never before seen a Bowflex fitness machine up close before, so I was quite impressed with the overall quality of the frame and seat cushions. Of course I had read about them but I was none the less taken back by the cushions in particular that are upholstered by some type of ultra-durable car seat style vinyl that seemed to be almost bullet proof.

After the assembly was done, I couldn't wait to jump on it and give it a go which I did and once again I was highly impressed. The fitness guide that came along with it was a great help. It reads well and is full of great tips and info. Also I found that that the 210 pounds of resistance is quite enough for me. After all, I'm a woman and not looking to bulk up. Even so my B/F uses the machine when he comes over and has no problem with it.

I had read all the complaints in so many of the reviews by people who seemed to feel that the resistance that the Bowflex PR1000 maxed out at but what these reviews fail to mention is that my machine was just so affordable to buy. So for someone who is looking to tone up rather than bulk up, it's perfect. I keep mine in my den and use it every night.
