For years I was just like so many people out there who simply assumed that a person could easily get by with a pair of dumbbells with no bench. Granted, there are lots of dumbbell exercises that can be done simply standing up and sitting down but I was complexity unaware of the importance of a dumbbell bench. That is until the day I walked into my new neighbors home who had a Bowlflex dumbbell bench in his converted garage.
Understand that I had never seen a set of SelectTech dumbbells before in my life either, so I was quite impressed to say the least. Then when I tried out both the stand and the dumbbells together I was totally blown away. I mean I had used dumbbells before but never like this. For on thing the Bowlfex dumbbell bench even had a hinged leg t-bar for doing leg curls.
The overall quality of the unit it is superb. Nothing cheap or flimsy about it. It's also incredibly fast and easy to reset the incline of the backboard. I don't own one myself but I plan to someday convert a garage into a gym like my neighbor has. The problem though is two fold. First I'm only 20 years old and live with my parents, so its their garage and they're definitely not into it. Also I'm still in college and only have a part time job.

This thing is great. I have recently started working out again after spending six months on fatherhood duties and didn’t have the time or money to go back to a gym. This bench allows me to work my reps like I am in the gym and can run upstairs afterwards to be a dad again.
