We received this the other day and thought we would share it with everyone.
My own personal Bowflex success story actually begins in my late teens after I got out of high school and started in at the junior college in the small Midwest town that my family had moved to eight years earlier. I had always considered myself to be in shape, so I never really gave much thought to an exercise regimen.
The apartment complex where that I lived in did have a gym in it though and I stopped in from time to time to get some exercise and try to meet the girls that worked out there regularly. The gym there had two standard iron pile weight machines that I used occasionally and they seemed to work just fine.
However; one afternoon when I walked in I saw a new Bowflex machine that they had put over next to the iron pile weight machines. I tried it out and the difference was immediately noticeable as it had a much “smoother” feel to it during by reps. There was no jarring when I began or ended a lift and it was a lot quieter too.

Moving from one exercise to another was a lot easier to, as the Iron pile machines required the attaching and removing of various devices that moved me from weight range and exercise to another. I didn't give much thought to it though and went about my workouts about two times a week.
I eventuality finished school and moved to another town and began my career selling real estate and just like my younger years didn't give much thought to staying in shape. I worked my way through a couple of semi-serious relationships and found myself single and approaching my thirtieth birthday, when one day one of the guys at the office invited me to come along to his gym for a guest workout.
It was an awakening experience for me the first time I saw myself in the mirror and saw the other men in the gym. I was overweight and out of shape. The gym also only had Bowflex machines to workout on, so I was in familiar territory when I worked out that day.
One problem that I found though was that I was not really a “gym” kind of guy but I did want to get back in shape. I wanted to turn my life around and start getting out and meeting girls but not with the body that I was stuck in.
Withing a week I had bought a Bowfles Elite and plunked it in the middle of my living room and replaced my TV routine with a workout routine and I could almost watch the pounds melting off when I weighed myself once a week.
I made up my mind that when I had reached my weight loss goal of thirty-five pond I was going to go back to my buds gym and have another look around and see how I felt. That day came four months later and what a shock it was.
I walked in and took a look around and was pleasantly surprised to find that I wasn't one of the “fat guys” there. I felt totally comfortable and now go there once a week with my bud from work and to top it all off I'm now dating one of the “hard-body” girls that work there.
